May 23rd, 2012 | Category: miscellaneous The answer to the above question is… er… “probably not”. But they’re both great, don’t make me choose between them. Then again, I may have to placate you all with some Doctor Who-related things, given that I’ve been quite busy at university lately with assessments, and subsequently I haven’t had enough time to finish the posts I’m writing on convergent molecular evolution (in response to this ENV post by ID proponent Jonathan McLatchie) and the relationship between evolutionary biology and atheism (in response to various posts by science and [...]

No “substantial” posts over the past week (apart from the regular TWiID, which I swear will be on Tuesday this time)? That’s true. You don’t know what Doctor Who is? Well, watch the trailer – it’ll fill you in… sort of. Hopefully it will also inspire you to watch one of the greatest TV shows of all time… What can I say, I’m a massive fan. Whovians unite!

February 21st, 2010 | Category: tabletop transitionals Are you pumped for the new season of Doctor Who, the one with Matt Smith taking over as the Doctor after David Tennant left in the last season? Well so am I, so here’s a new trailer to keep you happy until Easter (or considerably later, if you live in Australia like me, where things from the BBC take nearly half a year to get here).
Although… “happy” is a very loose term. If anything, it made me a little less excited about the new season – the [...]
